About me and my practice
Life brings challenges and it is understandable that we may look for support in facing them. As a counsellor my role is to provide a safe supportive space to help you explore your circumstances and your process of self discovery. I will listen deeply, ask meaningful questions, and help you uncover insights that can empower you to move forward with clarity and confidence.
Together, we can explore your situation in a way that opens up fresh perspectives and new possibilities for growth. Whether you're navigating life changes, coping with stress, or seeking deeper understanding of your thoughts and emotions, I aim to provide a supportive and empathetic space where we can work through challenges collaboratively. I work with your pace for you to feel emotionally safe.
Experience
Experienced in working with a diverse community of people, coming to me with a varied range of problems such as anxiety, stress, depression, self-esteem, trauma, relationship and family issues. I have particular experience in supporting survivors of recent and historic sexual assault and abuse in my previous work within a local sexual abuse support centre counselling service.
I have worked with many university students in the UK and with teaching staff from the international educational sector. Through this work I understand the complex challenges that come with balancing academic demands and emotional wellbeing when facing personal difficulties.
